I don’t know about you but I’m always looking for easy snacks with natural ingredients. This frozen yogurt and berry bark has become one of my family’s favorite treats to snack on. They’re so delicious you can eat them for dessert. I wanted to take a little break from all construction going on in our laundry/powder room and share the recipe with you all! You maybe familiar with this treat already but if not, here ya go.
This recipe is so simple you probably wont even need to write it down.
You only need 1 – 32 oz. container of yogurt of your choice (We really love Stoneyfield’s vanilla.) A couple handfuls fresh or frozen fruit of your choice. Our favorites are strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mango and peaches.
Wash and slice your fruit into a desired size. Place parchment paper in a 9×13″ pan. Spread the yogurt onto the pan and drop in your fruit.
Place your pan into the freezer for at least 4 hours or until completely frozen.
Once it’s frozen, take it out of the pan and off the parchment. Break into desired pieces. Store in a freezer bag in the freezer for up to two weeks.
Spring in Georgia always feels a little more like summer so we’ve been enjoying this cold treat for a couple of weeks now. I’ve never been a fan of the consistency of yogurt so I always add it to a smoothie or granola. I’ve really enjoyed eating it frozen as well. It’s perfect for a warm sunny day when you just need something cool. I also don’t have to worry about my son eating too much. Unlike ice cream, you don’t have to worry about a sugar high.
It’s Monday, so hang in there! I’ll be getting my painting done in the laundry room today and possibly installing a shelf or too. Be sure to come back on Thursday when I share our progress. You can check out last week’s post here. Have a great week friends!
