Happy Sunday friends! Time flies when you’re having fun and boy is it flying by. Christmas is just a week away and we’ve been enjoying all the festive things this holiday season has to offer. This is the week of Christmas parties and a lots of time with family and friends for us here at the Becker house. If that is the case for you I’ve got a couple quick and easy gift wrapping ideas and some last minute tree decorating tips, if you can call them tips. I’m not an expert by any means. I’m just sharing what I’ve done to make things a little easier. I’m also thrilled to show you all the newest addition to our dining room. We had the pleasure of receiving a tree from Tree Classics and it’s by far my favorite tree in our home!
The Hyde Park Pine snap tree is extremely realistic looking and my favorite part was that it set up in less than 2 minutes. Yes, you read correctly, less than 2 minutes! You simply attach the stand to the bottom of the tree, roll it into place, stick the top of the tree in place and turn on the lights. There’s no connecting lights, no pushing or pulling it into the right spot. It was so easy I thought maybe I was dreaming. No to mention, I can’t believe just how full it is! Taking the tree down and storing is just as easy.
Tree Classics is celebrating their 40th year this year and they’re offering some fantastic sales this month. I love every bit of their Christmas decor!
For ornaments I added some glass balls in blush and gold. I chose some shiny, some muted and some that have a gold leafing texture. This adds interest and keeps things fun. I also threw in some pine cones to add a natural element.
Some simple ribbon tied into bows on some of the limbs adds a little bit of texture and is a quick way to dress up the tree.
There are some crazy good deals currently in most stores for Christmas decor. I bought each box of ornaments from my local craft store for under $3 a box! I say stock up while you can. You can never go wrong with simple, glass ornaments.
How pretty are these gold scalloped gift boxes! These little boxes are so pretty they don’t need to be wrapped. Just add some simple ribbon and you’re good to go. This is such an easy and quick way to throw a gift together. For the other gifts some simple brown paper and ribbon get the job done. It’ll look like you put tons of time into it but in reality it only took 2 minutes to wrap!
You don’t have to have fancy and expensive ornaments and wrapping paper to have a classy tree. I find myself wandering into the dining room on a daily to admire our blush and gold tree. This simple tree is a keep for sure. I’m really looking forward to using it for years to come. Big thanks for Tree Classics for the unbelievably beautiful tree!
If you need to throw up a tree last minute and find yourself scrambling to get the gifts wrapped know you’re not alone! Just think simple. Simple is always beautiful in my book. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas!
