I still love this shot of our breakfast nook. This year’s Christmas looks a little different in our home. Audrey (Addy) is two months old, so decorating to the same level has been a bit tricky. We’re doing what time allows for, but tree is up and the stockings are hung so we’re good! Anyone else in a similar season of life?

We’re adding a forth stocking to the mantle this year. Children make Christmas so magical! We’re already thinking of all the Christmas time things we want to do with Audrey as she grows. I’m so thankful we get to experience it all one more time.

Today is launch day! Our two new wrapping paper co

Today is launch day! Our two new wrapping paper collections are live on the blog. At one point I didn’t think I was going to pull it off. Having an infant again after 10 years has been a whirlwind. I’m slowly learning what I have time for and what will have to wait, but I was so excited for this years prints. Thankfully I got it done and I’m so pleased with them!

The Holly Lane collection is a traditional holly floral pattern with a coordinating red gingham and matching tags.

Addy’s collection is inspired by baby Audrey’s (AKA Addy) pink and green nursery. I’m loving the soft feminine colors and patterns. Shop all paper and tags with link in bio & stories.

Our table top tree made its appearance on Sunday. This sweet tree was another Ballard’s outlet find. It was missing it’s sled base, but for $15 it was a steal. Josh made me a holder using 4x4 block with a hole drilled through the center.

I usually use a mix of homemade ornaments and my vintage German mercury glass ornaments. You can find my free printable and how-to for the nutcracker ornaments in my stories today! These would be super cute on a children’s tree. 🎄

Years ago I snagged this garland from the Ballard Designs’s outlet for $20. Each year it finds its place above our bed. I love how something so simple can be so elegant. It’s just a reminder to me that I don’t need anything fancy or any trips to the store to decorate for the holidays. My old decor is more than enough! All room sources and links are in my stories.

Two years ago I dressed our staircase garland in blue velvet ribbon and it has been a favorite color scheme of mine ever since. Today I’m getting a few decorations up and I’m trying to decide what color ribbon to use. 🤔 I’m deciding between blue again or a deep red to match our living room tree. You can’t go wrong with either one in my opinion. How’s your week shaping up?
