Well hello everyone! It’s been a quick second since I shared anything to these squares. Time always seems to get away from me. I hope your year has been great thus far! I can’t believe it’s already February. In honor of Valentine’s Day next I’m sharing Charlie’s classic cookie cake recipe on the blog today, complete with a heart shape. Good morning! I’m here in IG much later than I thought I would be. Well, we had an unhappy puppy wake us at 3 am due to a mess in her crate. Josh in his sleepy stupor decided to set her up in the kitchen for the night and deal with the crate in the morning. Flash forward to this morning… I only wanted a cup of coffee 😭. Instead I found not one, not two, not three or even four, but six piles of poo! 😳 My first thought was why just why!! My second thought was how did all of that come from such a small dog? After spending much of the morning cleaning the kitchen floor I’m finally sitting down to a cup of coffee. Nothing says good morning like a poop explosion in the kitchen! I am very thankful for her thoughtfulness in that she left my slipcovered chairs along. The kitchen is now airing out, because no one wants a kitchen that smells like a kennel. Ruby is fine. She got ahold of some food yesterday that she shouldn’t have eaten. I’m sure she even regrets it now as we do in not picking up our plate sooner. Happy Monday to all!
