It’s hard to believe we’re already in September and I’m sharing my fall mantel with you all. While I know some of you are clinging to summer, I’ve been over here dreaming of cool fall days. I love every drop the season has to offer! One of my favorite aspects of fall is the warm and rustic colors. I’m a lover of those natural tones you find outdoors. I can’t imagine a fall without a touch of yellow and orange in my decor. This year is no exception. I’m keeping it traditional and easy with my natural fall mantel.
I’m also so glad to be apart of such a great group of ladies today who are sharing their beautiful fall mantels with you as well. Be sure to check those out when you leave here!
A Natural Autumn Mantel

I don’t think I’ll ever love faux pumpkins like I love the real things but I’ve been hoarding faux pumpkins for a few years now and I recently came up with some paint colors that put them pretty high up on my list. I’ll share that with you very soon!
With just a few pumpkins, clippings from the yard and some lovely pine cones, I’m in woodlands heaven. Once real pumpkins are easier to get a hold of here in Ga. I’ll incorporate those as well.
I’m all about natural and easy these days. I went through my fall storage bins a couple of weeks ago and cut my decor in half. It felt great to unload all of that stuff that wasn’t being used or had seen better days. After freeing myself of those items I didn’t want to over do it with the mantel. Just a few natural elements was all that it needed.
I’d love to know if you’ve started to plan your fall decor or if you’ve started decorating yet. Are you going traditional or out of the box this year?
I’m so thrilled you stopped by! I couldn’t be happier to be apart of this fantastic and talented group of friends. Make sure to stop by and take a peek of each of their mantels. There is so much fall inspiration to be had!

Your mantel is beautifully done! I love the baskets in front. Can you share where you found them?
Thanks!
Thank you so much Rosa! The baskets are from Kirklands. They’re not on their website for some reason but they do carry them in the store. ????
Thanks so much! 🙂
Oh so pretty.
I love this room in your house! It’s perfect for enjoying a Garrison Keillor novel on an autumn afternoon! Love the way you arranged the pumpkins on your mantel with greenery. Perfect!
I LOVE the natural simplicity.
I agree with everyone else’s comments here also. I love the simplicity, the colors you used, the placements of the pumpkins mixed with the pinecones and greens, and those baskets in front of the fireplace! I don’t have a Kirkland’s around me, so I’m hoping maybe Hobby Lobby might have something similar. Love the look of them. What an inspiration!
Absolutely beautiful! I love the baskets in front of your fireplace!!
What a beautiful fall mantel Amanda! I love all the natural elements…it’s perfect for this time of year! Happy Fall!
Simply, fabulously beautiful!
I simply adore your old fireplace mantel and the lovely Fall decor. Hopefully I don’t get mobbed for saying this hehe, but as far as seasonal or holiday decorating, I personally only decorate for Xmas…buuut if I did decorate for another season, it’d be Fall. 😉 I’ve been perusing your site and love your vintage decorating style in your home, especially your powder bath/laundry makeover! Gorgeous!
