Today is such an exciting day for me. Today’s my first fall home reveal in my new house, well new to me. I’ve said it before, fall is one of my favorite times of the year along with Christmas of course. We moved into our colonial back in January and have been renovating ever since but I’ve been looking forward to the fall season for sometime now.
I’m not sharing my whole fall house tour today but I am sharing the mantel in our family room. When it comes to decorating mantels you can put out all those pretty, just because items and not worry if they’re practical or if they’re taking up useful space. It’s one place to just have fun.
What I love about fall decor is that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to ring in the new season.
The faux pumpkins are from a craft store for just a couple dollars. Remember you can always paint them if the color isn’t right with your decor.
I added a few old books that I had already and the glass jars are from the Target dollar section.
I’m keeping things simple around the house these days. With all the house repairs needed I need simple and affordable! I hope it inspires you to embrace the season even if your budget is small.
Make sure to check out the other talented bloggers today too. I’m so thrilled to be sharing with them. We’ve got lots of fall mantels and inspiration for ya!
