Our crock pot French drip recipe is an all time favorite meal in our house. This recipe has been in our recipe box for many years now. Its so comforting and delicious and can be enjoyed two different ways. I think you’ll love it’s savory flavor as much as we do.
One way we love to enjoy this fall crock pot recipe is as a sandwich. Before serving simply shred the roast with two forks and place on a hoagie roll. Feel free to add cheese, mayo or whatever you’d like. The broth is the perfect dipping sauce.
This recipe can also be served as a soupy roast with buttery rolls on the side. When making it as a soup we like to add carrots and mini golden potatoes.
