It’s finally here! The day that I have been looking forward to for some time now— the reveal of our fall home tour. Not only are you going to take a peek into my home, but the homes of seven other very talented bloggers as well. We’ve got a lot of creative and inspiring ideas in store for you all. There’s even a cute giveaway in store for ya!
Fall being one of my favorite times of the year, I decorate the home with just as much enthusiasm as I do during the Christmas season. There is something so comforting about my home in the fall. The colors are warm and everything smells of cinnamon.
Welcome, everyone!
There’s not much of a porch, so just a few pumpkins to line the steps work perfectly.
The black chicken wire pumpkin was only $3 at Target. I added just a bit of twine to dress it up.
Come on into the entry way! You can find the tutorial to my $15 magnolia wreath here. The plaid pillow is actually made from an old flannel shirt!
With a few old books, this $3 faux olive basket from Target, and a cozy throw, the entry way is warm and inviting.
Come on into the family room.
I love the color added to the fireplace by this $3 chalkboard print paired with soft colored stems.
With all of the small white pumpkins getting so much love lately, I had to throw in some timeless orange ones. I just love the pop of color!
I retired my summer pillow covers and made a couple of new ones from this lovely plaid fabric. For less than $10 I have two new covers. They’re a steal!
Come on into the kitchen.
These dishes are my mother’s. I love the the navy and white color palette. It’s timeless.
This simple center piece consists of my faux dough bowl (you can find that story here.) accented with faux hydrangeas, acorn squash, faux pumpkins, a couple of cotton stems, and feathers.
You can find this adorable print on my friend Amber’s blog- Boxwood Cottage.
You can find this charming ceramic measuring cup here.
Let’s head upstairs.
You can find the how-to for this PB inspired lamp here, and the how-to for the nightstand here.
Check out my how-to for the over-sized pillow crate and my PB inspired ampersand pillow cover!

Amanda, there is a lot to love in your home tour! Beautiful! But my favorite is that little stool with the pumpkin you used for a doorstop!! Love!!
Thank you so much! That’s one of my favorites too Roxanne 🙂
Where did you find the chalkboard print?
Charity, I actually found it at Wal-Mart, surprisingly enough!
Rats my Walmart didn’t have it so I will continue the search. Thanks!
Oh bummer! Keep checking, one is bound to have it 😉
This is the tale of a Beautiful house! lol. Everything looks so pretty…like it came out of a magazine.
Thank you so much Jessica, such encouraging words! That’s what is so fun about fixing up the ugliest house, seeing the after result 🙂
Visiting for the first time. Certainly not an ugly ‘home’ 😉 I agree with Jessica, above ^^ From the front steps right through, you have done a great job giving it style and so many great touches, including the additions for this Fall season. Thanks for the tour.
Oh, thank you so much Elizabeth! Our homes always start out ugly. That’s what I love about DIY, you can turn any ugly house into a pretty one. Thanks for visiting my little blogging corner!
Amanda your house is beautiful! I love the touches you added to your home! I love that you decorated your bedrooms too!
Thanks Ruthie 🙂 Fall is my absolute favorite season. So, adding a couple things to our rooms just makes me happy! I tell my husband I have to milk the time for all it’s worth. It goes by much too quickly.
