We’ve been hard at work on such a fun project the last few weeks. I’ve been keeping it to myself but today I’m thrilled to share it with you all! A couple months ago Kreg Jig invited us back for their summer building series. You can find our outdoor buffet build from last years summer build under projects. We had so much fun participating last year that of course we said yes. Kreg Jig is one of those tools that has completely transformed the way we build here at the Becker house. So, I guess it’s safe to say that it’s one of my favorite tools in our arsenal.
We’ve been working on our back patio the last month or so and it’s come a long way. I hope to be sharing the finished space with you very soon. We knew we wanted something we could enjoy on our refinished deck. We decided on a swing and pergola. Every time we go to Lowes my son would always ask to sit on the swings. Needless to say when we told him that we were going to build a swing he was thrilled!
Here’s what we came up with.
You can find our building plans here. BuildSomething.com is Kreg Jig’s website for DIY project planning. If you’re not looking to build a swing they have many more outdoor builds for summer.
We’re loving our new swing and pergola. I can foresee many more days and evenings out on our new deck. Happy building friends!
This post was sponsored by Kreg Jig but all opinions and thoughts are my own.

Thank you so much Roxanne! We’ve got all summer ahead, plenty of time for building 🙂
How can I get the plans for this pergola porch swing? Thanks, K
After the fourth photo I believe, it says you can find the building plans here. Just click on here and it will take you to Buildsomething.com where I posted the plans. 🙂
What is a ballpark range of cost for this project for supplies?
Do you remember how much this costed you in total? ???? Beautiful!
A mini pergola is adorable on it’s own but the swing too? I’m in love! Such a wonderful job, it’s gorgeous
Is this hard to build
