Yesterday was the start of a lovely season called Spring. I really can’t believe we’re already half way through March and well on our way to Easter. With that being said, I have a fun little table for ya today!
One thing I have really enjoyed doing each season is decorating my son’s little table for each holiday. Unlike our dining table, I find the kids table to be much more fun to set. Ideas are endless and you can really get creative with it.
I’ve really started to shoot for simple and uncluttered. I’ve learned that kids have the tendency to knock over plates and drinks. Having too much on the table really only makes for a bigger mess.
This is what I came up with for Easter. The first thing I did was hit up the dollar spot in Target. I found these adorable fabric, carrot bags for a $1 that I stuffed with our favorite Easter goodies.
I also found a bag of those cute yellow birds for $1 to top the vanilla bean cupcakes with.
The bunny straws are also from the dollar spot. I just couldn’t resist them with those little pom pom balls.
My favorite thing might be this bunny banner. It didn’t cost me anything to make.
I printed a bunny silhouette onto white card stock. I then traced it onto to the rest of the card stock and cut them out. I was able to fit more bunnies on one page that way. You can certainly print each one out. I already had the white pom poms on hand. If you don’t have any you should be able to find them at any craft store. Use a glue stick to glue them onto the tail of each bunny.
I used mini cloths pins to attach them to twine. That’s all there is to it. Here is a free download of the bunny for you to print off at home –
I hope you all have a wonderful first week of spring. Hopefully you can get outside and enjoy it a bit. Here in Georgia we’ve been fortunate enough to have some beautiful sunny weather the last couple of days. I’m looking forward to next week when I share my spring home tour with you all as well as my Easter tablescape here on the blog. I hope you’ll join me!
Have a wonderful week friends!

I love the cute children’s Easter table….so creative and so fun for your son! I don’t have little ones at home, but it brought back good memories of when our boys were younger! Thanks for sharing…..

Thanks Lanita! I think he was more focused on those cupcakes than anything else, haha. I’m trying to soak in every moment though. I know the day when he leaves the nest will be here before I blink an eye. Have a great weekend friend!
