12 Sleeps until Christmas day my friends! Can you believe it? I seems to move faster every year. One thing that makes the holidays so magically is the excitement that small children have at this time of the year. My son just turned four last week and he couldn’t not be more excited for Christmas day to arrive. I just love watching his reaction to all of the holiday festivities. There’s such an innocence and magic about this time of the season for them. This year I wanted to make sure that I made it extra fun for him and a couple of his closest buddies. This Santa table setting is a great table-setting for your big Christmas dinner with family as well!
I recently refinished a vintage table that I had found at a thrift store as well as the Pottery Barn Kids chairs.
You can find awesome gingerbread decorating kits at most grocery stores. I found a set of 10 at Target including the icing and sprinkles for around $5. It’s such an easy and fun thing for kids to do. Not to mention it makes for a yummy treat when they’re done!
The Santa plates and matching cups are also sold at Target. You can click on my Target link above to find them on their website.
We just couldn’t wait until the party to snag one of those gingerbread cookies. They were too tempting.
I guess you could say we’re ready to party now! It doesn’t take a big budget or anything fancy to make the perfect table setting. Whether it’s a kids Christmas party or Christmas Eve dinner it’s fun for the little ones and I have to admit I had way too much fun myself!
Merry Christmas everyone and happy decorating!
