Our master bedroom is made up of treasures we’ve collected over the years. It’s our escape, a place to find rest. Let’s take a tour of our collected spring bedroom.
I’ll be honest friends, this is the cleanest this room has been in weeks. All of the quarantine business has our home looking a little less than tidy. I suppose that’s just a sign that our home is well “lived” in. I recently decided to freshen up our master bedroom. We spend a lot of time in this room. We curl up for a movie or a good book and it’s where we truly rest. I haven’t always put much effort into this room. I don’t change up the decor very often, however I recently added a new mirror and painting and of course I couldn’t just leave it at that.
I used the word collected in the title because that’s just want this room and much of our home is, a collection. A lot of the items in our home are pieces that we’ve found over the years through travels, at antique and thrift stores and heirlooms passed down by family members. It’s a collection that I hold dear, one that holds meaning to me. I think that’s just how a home should be.

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I shared this antique oil painting a few months ago on my stories. I got it for only $20 or $25. It was truly love at first sight. Last week it found it’s home in our bedroom above my nightstand.
I don’t switch up our bedding too much. I have a couple of duvets that I like to swap for the seasons but this beige and off-white duvet is one of my all time favorites. I incorporated a couple of block print pillow covers from JSH and it’s feeling pretty spring like in here.
Our gold leaf mirror is looking mighty pretty above the chest of drawers. It really has me thinking I need to put some stain or paint on this piece. I’ve loved the bare wood on this piece for some time but I’m really wanting a change for it. I’m just craving more color and warmer wood tones. I haven’t quite made my mind up yet. I may just swap it out for something different. We’ll see!
This room hold so many fond memories for us as a family. Although it’s not in the photo we have a TV and TV cabinet on the wall across from the bed and on that cabinet we have a number of family photos from our travels. There’s also a number of photos of Charlie and one of our favorite pups, Holly, my mom’s Yorkshire Terrier. One day I’ll get that wall decorated and shareable. It’s a great glimpse into us, minus the ugly TV, ha!
Even though we’re all cooped up at home I hope that your spring is beautiful none the less and that you hold the ones you love close. God is faithful and I know we’ll get through this tough and trying time. Much love <3

I’m always in love with your seasonal bedrooms! Can I ask about the 3 taller pillows in the back of your bed? What size are those? And are the pillowcases a part of a set (like with the white quilt) or did you buy them separately? Thank you!!
Thank you so much! 🙂 The taller white pillows in the back are euro size – 26″x26″. The pillow inserts are from Ikea and the covers are from Restoration Hardware. Here is a link for them – https://www.restorationhardware.com/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod690606&categoryId=cat1860011
I did purchase mine from their outlet so they were a little less. I hope that helps!
Thank you so much!! I love the layers.
Of course! Thank you 🙂
