Summer is made for time outdoors and picnics with the friends. Our turkey berry brie sandwich recipe has become one of our go-to meals when we’re on the go. I know you’re going to love them as much as we do!
It’s June, friends! Which means it’s time to share ways we make our homes cozy and warm for those we love for the Cozy Living series hosted by my friend Jennifer at Town and Country Living. This year just keeps flying by and every month is a reminder to enjoy each day and to slow down and take it all in. Summer has always been a season that my family slows down a bit and enjoys time outdoors with friends and family.
We’ve already enjoyed a couple pool days and picnic lunches in the last week and I thought that the start to summer would be the perfect time to share one of our favorite on-the-go sandwiches with you guys.
This sandwich is a variation of one from one of my favorite restaurants, Cafe Intermezzo. I love turkey and jam together. It always reminds me of the Thanksgiving a bit, my favorite time of the year and you can never go wrong with brie. I can never seem to get enough of it. This has become one of our go-to sandwiches over the years. It’s good cold or hot and makes for the perfect picnic meal.

It’s such a versatile sandwich. When we have cucumbers on hand I love to add a thin slice, especially in the summer. It’s so refreshing!
Grab your picnic tote, blanket and drinks and hit the road! This is such a yummy spin on a basic turkey and cheese sandwich. I just know you’re going to love it as much as we do! Now, hop over and see what some of our friends are sharing this month as part of the Cozy living series. Have a lovely summer, friends!

I love summer sandwiches! I’ve been eating tomato sandwiches lately. Yours sounds yummy but I’m a vegetarian. My hubby would eat this though. Thanks for sharing the recipe – I like the idea of adding jam to it.

These sandwiches look perfect to have by the pool or at the beach. I love the combo and can’t wait to try it. Sometimes when it’s so hot we just have sandwiches and potato chips.
