Pottery Barn’s Anywhere Chair Review

I have had several people ask me in the past year and a half what I thought about Pottery Barn Kid’s Anywhere chair. They’ve wanted to know if it’s held up well and how much my son actually sits in it. It retails starting at $99. That’s not exactly cheap for a toddler’s chair. I see how you could be hesitant before buying.

My mom bought one for my son almost two years ago. I had secretly wanted one before I even had him. I just thought they were so cute. They look just like an adult size armchair, what’s not to love, right? Plus you can get them personalized. Sadly, I have never gotten around to having Charlie’s name put on it, maybe one day!

Here’s my review almost two years later and with a lot of living in.

Fabric Quality: I have been totally impressed by the quality of the slip cover! When it gets dirty (which is often) I take the cushions out and throw the cover into the washing machine and then dryer. It’s kept its shape and has not worn at all! There has been no fading or tears. The cover fits very snug and the zipper has kept up! This si huge considering my toddler can be very rough on things.

Cushion Quality: With Charlie sitting on the arms and flipping the chair upside down and climbing over it, the cushions have kept their integrity really well! It takes a beating but you’d never know it. The shape of the chair still looks the same as it did when we first got it.

I have been so happy with ours. My son absolutely loves it. If he’s not sitting in it, he’s climbing all over it! It was worth every penny.  They have so many colors and patterns to choose from as well as three different sizes. You can find them here.
