It’s spring and that means spring cleaning in our home is well under way. When it comes to spring cleaning, I absolutely love it! Some of you are cringing in your seats at the sight of those words, but I assure you, it’s true! I love the feeling of starting a season fresh. I look at deep cleaning as a reset for our home, so I’m thrilled to have OXO sponsoring this post today. I’ve always loved finding new tools to get the job done more effectively, and if you don’t enjoy spring cleaning like I do, I think these cleaning tools from OXO will at least make it more bearable for you. You all know me by now, and know that I only share products I truly love, and these items are no exception. I’m also sharing my free printable to help you get organized this spring in your cleaning. I use a check list throughout the year to make sure that I get each thing accomplished, and to help keep track of what I need for what job. I’m so happy to share it with you!
We spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Largely because I love baking, and also because our family and friends naturally gravitate there. It’s also the first place I start when I begin spring cleaning. There have been a few items that have really made things easier. The OXO Stainless Steel Sinkware Caddy has recently become one of my favorite organizers for sponges and dish brushes. I have it sitting beside my sink and when I’m not cleaning; I like to keep it under my sink with my cleaning supplies. There’s just something about clutter-free counter tops that really leave the kitchen feeling clean. What I love about the caddy is that it has holes in the bottom for draining excess water. The clear tray underneath the caddy catches the water and has a small spout for pouring the unwanted water out. I’ve never liked to use small caddies in the past because they didn’t drain and were difficult to keep clean, but the whole caddy can go into the dishwasher too.
Their Water Bottle Cleaning Set has been wonderful and so helpful for washing water bottles and Josh’s traveling cups. The long brush reaches the bottom of the bottle and the smaller brush helps to get in between the threads of the top.
The OXO Deep Cleaning Brush Set has become one of my go-to cleaning items. They work fantastically around the base of faucets and drains where build-up tends to be. The smaller brush has a rubber tip to get the tough spots, particularly around drains. These are on my must-have list for spring cleaning! You can see how there was grime build up around the base of my faucet here.
With just a little bit of warm water and the Deep Clean Brush Set, the grime is gone! I’ve used it in the kitchen and all of our bathrooms. It works great with sink faucets, but you can also use it on tubs and showers as well.
If you’re like me, you hate getting food leftovers on your hands. We don’t have a garbage disposal, so the OXO Good Grips Dish Squeegee has been amazing! I also use it to squeegee the sink out after washing dishes.
When it comes to keeping the counter tops clutter-free, I’ve also loved OXO’s Soap Dispensing Dish Brush. No more worrying about keeping the dish soap bottle on the counter top; this brush holds and dispenses soap.
One way I’m keeping our home clean in-between deep cleanings is with my Microfiber Floor Duster with Fringe. It pivots nicely to glide under furniture and hard to reach areas. We use it on our hardwood floors as well as our tile floors. It grabs dust and dirt really well and the microfiber head comes off so that you can throw it into the washing machine. It’s so easy to use in-between vacuuming and moping.
As promised, here’s my free printable to get all of your spring cleaning organized and accomplished this season. Just click the link and print!
