Crock Pot French Dip - Two Ways

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. beef roast
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup quality soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • pepper to taste
  • 2-3 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1/2-3/4 lb. small golden potaoes, quartered
  • hoogie rolls for sandwiches

Instructions

  1. Place roast in a crock pot and pour in water and soy sauce.

  2. If creating a soup roast, add carrots and potato chuncks.

  3. Sprinkle in all seasonings.

  4. Cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 8 hours.
