A pretty tree makes the Christmas season a little more special. A vintage Christmas tree styled as a Partridge in a pear tree is just that, pretty and magical!
I can’t believe the holidays are upon us and I’ve started adding Christmas touches throughout our home. It always seems to sneak up on me but I can’t complain because it happens to be my favorite time of year! Each year I like to get a head start on decorating before the holiday craziness sets in and it gives us a little extra time to enjoy it. This year I’ve partnered with King of Christmas for the new tree in our dining room.

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved Christmas. It has always been such a magical season. Although I like to keep things simple, during the holidays I throw caution to the wind. I’m not one for clutter but I do enjoy a try in most rooms and I’m all about fresh greenery. We use our dining room quite a bit and even more so during the holidays. I just love the festive feel that this tree gives our room! I wanted a vintage and realistic looking tree and this King Noble Fir bit the bill perfectly!
This tree would have been beautiful with any sort of ornaments but I wanted to do something a little different this year and give the tree a fun theme. A while back I came across a photo of frosted fruit in an old magazine and it completely inspired this idea for our Partridge in a pear tree.
Over the last week I’ve been hunting down faux pears and gluing and glittering like a mad person and I was able to find a sweet little bird topper to pull the theme together.
I’ve really been loving the thinner more skimpy trees lately. Maybe it’s the realistic look or the nostalgia, either way I think it fits our dining room perfectly.
I added a strand of 100 white lights for every foot of the tree. This will give you tree a real glow! I also attached some battery powered candle lights. This really gives the tree that vintage look. I couldn’t be happier with the feel of this tree. It looks real, even up close! It truly has that old-fashioned look that I wanted.
Whether you like the thin vintage looking trees or a nice full or flocked tree King of Christmas has some beautiful options. It’s a great time to plan your decorating and if you’re in the market for a new tree this year you’ll want to find the perfect one before the crazy rush.
