From time to time I get the redecorating bug. It seems to arrive just as the seasons begin to change. I think it’s my soul longing for a change. We’re one those families that likes to eat in our dining room a couple nights a week. I love the warmth in this space so it’s a nice to enjoy a meal together here. I’m not much of a pink kinda gal but this week I got the urge to incorporate it in our home is a small way. I decided to do a little rearranging and of course I added some spring flowers to create a spring hutch decorated in blush.

Well over a year ago I came across a lone pink pillow cover at the Pottery Barn outlet. With a price tag of $7 I couldn’t leave it behind. I figured I could use it in my office/craft room. When I got home I put it away in my linen closet and completely forgot about it until this week. You can imagine my excited when I found it. I knew it was the perfect pillow for the dining room to bring in some pink and blush colors. I don’t know how long I’ll keep it in the space but for now I think it’s fun. I’ve included a couple links below to throw pillows that have similar colors this one if you’re interested.
White dishes never go out of style or season. I have a couple different sets of white dishes and I love that I can pair them with anything. No matter what color I throw in they look perfect!
I designed and built this hutch not quite two years ago and I’ve absolutely loved it. It has been so much fun to style each season. Here are our free building plans if you’ve been looking for a DIY hutch for yourself.
Once again, grocery store flowers for the win! You can read now I use grocery store flowers to decorate here. I always save a little room in my Trader Joe’s budget to pick up a bundle or two on my way out. I love the life and charm it adds to our home. It’s also the perfect way to welcome spring!
Have a great weekend, friends! Next week I’m sharing our simple spring bedroom. I’m also working on some tips for keeping a tidy house even when you don’t have a lot of time. I hope to see you back here next week.

Really beautiful and welcoming! I love the idea of a settee (or 2 lol) in the dinging room. Is this the Natural Plain or the Sandy color in this settee?
Thanks Kimberly! It’s in natural plain. Although, I like the look of the the sandy color as well. You can’t go wrong with a settee!
Thank you so much for the reply. May I ask, does the settee sit up high enough to comfortably eat at the dining table? I have a couple of inherited wing back chairs in my kitchen, I love them, but they really don’t sit high enough at the kitchen table.
So stunning Amanda!! Love the Spring touches and have always wanted a settee or sofa for my table. Lovely! Thanks for linking up at The Creative Circle. xoxo
