Alright friends, Mother’s Day is right around the corner and if you’re like me and love your mom you may already be thinking about what you want to give her. Mother’s Day in our home is low key. For the last five years it’s been all about sweet time with my little family. We typically enjoy a meal together and spend the day walking downtown or at home enjoying a movie night. The things I’ve enjoyed the most have typically been pretty simple. This year I wanted to put together a few items that I love to create a timeless Mother’s Day gift guide for ya. If you’re just stumped this year I hope this will inspire you!
Each of these items are so classic and are not only great for Mother’s Day but for any other day! Here’s some of my favorite things –
For the Cook
Cream & Brass Kettle | Fringe Napkins | White Stoneware Platters
For the Decorator
Drew Embroidered Pillows | Brass Primrose Mirror | Golden Lattice Votive
For the Gardener
Live Angel Vine | Glass Plant Mister | Martha’s Flower Guide
A gift doesn’t have to be big. There’s something for every budget on this list. Sometimes the best gift is just a bundle of flowers and a cheerful face. I know when my sweet boy hands me flowers my heart instantly melts. Time together will always trump the stuff! I’d love to know if you celebrate Mother’s Day and if so, how do you celebrate?
I know I’ve been promising an update for Charlie’s room makeover for a couple weeks now and I really need to just sit down and give it but It’s coming soon. I promise! (You can see what his room used to look like here.) I’m planning to get a few more things done in his new room this weekend and possibly a date night with my love. Gotta get those date nights in, even after almost 12 years they’re a must. Have a lovely weekend, friends!
