Hello friends! I have been so anxious to share the sweetness that is Audrey’s nursery this Christmas season. Decorating children’s trees are at the top of my list. There’s something so whimsical and fun when it comes to decorating a child’s room at Christmas. Audrey’s nursery has been no exception. With the small amount of decorating time that I have these days, I have had an absolute blast getting her room ready for the holidays. It’s pink. It’s sweet and completely magical!
Last year after she was born I purchased a prelate tree for very cheap. I don’t know how long it will actually last, as a couple of the branches fell off while I was putting it up this year. For that reason, I won’t share a link for it. However, between the ornaments, stems and ribbon, the tree is looking quite pretty. I have linked below a couple of flocked trees that I have and highly recommend.
I made the ballerina tree skirt out of 6″ rolls of pink and white tulle. You simple take a medium size embroidery hoop and hold 3′ pieces of tulle in half and knot around the hoop. I did a white layer and a second hoop of pink to give it a full look. It’s extremely girly and was very inexpensive to make. It looks almost like a soft pink cloud, perfect for little girl.
Her ornaments are wired onto her tree and while she has pulled several ornaments off our tree downstairs, she couldn’t care less about her own tree. Last year I started collecting inexpensive ornaments from Target and Hobby Lobby. Most of the ornaments are plush or soft fabric ornaments, perfect for a small child. There are some breakable ornaments, but I tried to hang most of those out of her reach. The sparkling leaves are garland that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I used three on this tree, just wrapping them around at an angle. The pink berry stems were also purchased from HL. I will try to link some similar garland below that is still available.
I couldn’t resist this sweet gingerbread house plush. This was my splurge purchase for her room this Christmas. It was too cute to resist!
We brought all of the Christmas books that we’ve collected for Charlie over the years, as well as picked up a couple new ones for Audrey. Charlie has already read her a couple this week. Below you’ll find links to some of our favorite Christmas books for children.
I found this silver wreath at a local antique store last year. It’s the perfect touch above her dresser. I’ve tried to find something similar to it online to share, but haven’t had any luck.
Her room has been one of my favorite places to be this last year, and when the warm glow of twinkling lights its even cozier. The tree is completely unnecessary and some may say frivolous, but I can’t deny my love of the Christmas season. It brought me so much joy to decorate her tree this year. Life is short, get the tree!
I’m so glad you stopped by to see Audrey’s nursery. I’ve so much enjoyed sharing Charlie’s room over the years, so it’s been extra fun to have two children’s room to decorate this year. Charlie’s tree is also up and decorated. If I can get him to keep his room tidy for long enough, I’ll snap some photos of it. Can you believe he turns 12 today? My mom heart almost can’t take it. He’s been just a joy in our lives and I’m so thankful this holiday season for the blessings the Lord has given. I wish you all a wonderful weekend and a very Merry Christmas!
So adorable 🥰 even if over the top !
Oh, it’s completely over the top! 😆 Thankfully the tree and ornaments were super cheap. I’m not sure the tree will hold up over time but maybe I’ll be surprised.
Such a sweet adorable Christmas room for your girl!! Your taste is flawless!
I love your talent and ability to make every room so cozy and welcoming. Thanks for the close ups to the tree. I love ornaments, especially those collected and meaningful to the individual. Beautifully done!
Well it’s just about the sweetest room ever! Your taste excels as usual! What joy having a sweet baby girls room to decorate . Merry Christmas to all of u this season of love & joy!💚♥️
I love Audrey’s Christmas tree, and her room is adorable! It’s hard to believe kids grow up so fast. Charlie was just a little tyke when I first started reading your blog.
Merry Holiday Season to you and your lovely family.

Such a beautiful baby girl room! I love the tree, and just because it isn’t necessary doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it if it brings you joy. You are also creating special memories for her! My daughter is a young adult and she still loves holiday lights. I had a small tabletop tree in her room when she was young. In highschool and college she had white lights strung around her ceiling, they provided such a magical glow. I personally have a hard time taking down my Christmas tree every year because I love the lights so much in the dark dreary winter. I say embrace the lights and the joy they bring! Also, that gingerbread house pillow is the cutest!
Could you share the paint colour on the dresser pls. So soothing.

I love it! I love the simply yet girly feel to the room and tree. I had two boys. They were rough on so many things.
