Audrey’s room is looking pretty in pink this Christmas season! We’ve painted and I’ve done only a little decorating since we moved in, but her bedroom is the cutest room in our home. It feels just like what I would imagine a warm pink marshmallow to feel like. I’m not finished with her room just yet, but it’s at the perfect stage to enjoy the holiday season.

I was either feeling uncreative or maybe I just really love her tree like it is, but I decorated it just the same for the third year in a row. I usually like to switch up the ribbon on a tree, but I decided to use the ribbon we already had on hand again this year. This flocked tree was provided by King of Christmas a number of years ago (linked below) and the ornaments have been collected over the last three Christmas’. It’s the sweetest tree and we love the warm twinkling lights in the evening while reading books before bed. You can see her Christmas bedroom from last year here.

We have not removed the textured ceiling in her room quite yet. We’ll be tackling more rooms in the new year. I did paint her walls a color called Old Country by Benjamin Moore at 50% saturation. It’s the softest pink, almost peach color. I’ve reused all of the decor and furniture from our previous home. We wanted to keep things familiar for Audrey in her new room, not too much change all at once. If you’ve been around for a while you know that I like to purchase things and design for the long haul. There’s no use in redecorating if it’s not necessary.

Once I hung her linen canopy from our previous home, it was obvious that it doesn’t pair very well with the wall color, so I’ll eventually replace the pink linen fabric with something different. We also plan to hang her wall sconces that were above her crib before above her bed after Christmas. I have a nightstand that I would love to refinish and put in her room for more bedside storage eventually as well.

For a fun touch, I used left over ribbon from her tree to make chain and I also added a strand of glittery stars that I had on hand. The star garland is linked below.

I just love her room so much! Having a playroom has been wonderful. It has made keeping her room tidy very easy. She still enjoys books, stuffed animals, and her tea set in her room. While this room is already so sweet, the Christmas tree adds little more magic. My wish is that this is a space she feels is completely hers and that she’ll enjoy being in for years to come.
I hope you’re having a great Christmas season so far. We’ve been staying busy with family and friend gatherings and lots of seasonal activities. We’re getting ready for the big day and I’m really looking forward to all of the fun family time next week. This week we have lots of cookies to back, Christmas lights to see, and Josh and I have our annual Christmas date. Each year we get all dressed up, eat at a fancy restaurant, and follow it up with coffee and a little last minute Christmas shopping. We look forward to it every year. I highly recommend it.
Until next time, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

Audrey is a lucky little girl to have such a sweet room. Just beautiful!
What a lucky little girl to ave just a beautiful bedroom…I could move right in…Merry Christmas!
It’s lovely. It looks so elegant and peaceful.
Audrey’s room is perfect. I’m sure she already senses the warmth her room displays.
I used to do date shopping with my son’s (individually) during the holiday time leading up to Christmas and I know they enjoyed it as much as I did. Making time for one-on-one events with kids is so special.
Have a wonderful holiday.

Absolutely lovely. The paint color is so perfect. Where did you find the beautiful shelving on her wall?
Adorable! Even as a grandmother I would love to have that room.:) Always look forward to your postings and wishing you a wonderful holiday with your family.
Audrey’s room is Divine !!!!
Thank you for sharing your stunning and carefully curated home. It is truly beautiful!
I love everything about the room! I have a pretty large bedroom and just put a twin bed on one side of the room for my 4 year old granddaughter when she visits. I like the idea of the canopy a lot as it gives a feeling of separation for her own little area. I’m sure she would love it, and it doesn’t look too involved.
Such a precious room full of love for your little one. I love how you decorate and the time and thought you put into before a project. I agree that just because a room isn’t perfect doesn’t mean it’s any less beautiful. I look so forward to your posts. MErry Christmas to you and your family.
