Today, I wanted to share a new favorite item of mine that I got for our home. If you follow SMD on IG, you probably already know what I’m going to share. A few weeks ago, I decided to finally order a quilt from Etsy that I have looked at a dozen times before. I was a little hesitant at first, not knowing what quality to expect, but after receiving the quilt last week, I’m so glad I did!
For the last few weeks I’ve been slowly working on a little makeover in our master bedroom. You can read more about the progress here. I wanted to freshen up our bedding a bit, so I did some searching online for a new quilt. After ordering some fabric on Etsy, I discovered a shop that had several beautiful, block print quilts. I was concerned about the quality, but after reading so many good reviews, I decided to take the risk and order this one.
I can’t tell you just how much I love it! It was soft and got even softer as being washed. The colors are perfect and just what I had envisioned for the new space.
After sharing a quick story about it on IG, I received so many messages with questions about it. I knew I needed to share it here with all of the details. When I find things I love, I always look forward to filling you all in. There are so many beautiful quilts in different colors and patterns. Below I’ve gathered a few of my favorites from this same shop.
The quilts are 100% cotton and are very reasonably priced. You’ll find that the sizes are different than quilts here in the U.S. We ordered the 108″ x 108″ for our king size bed. I would recommend measuring before ordering. These would also make great throws for a family room. With Christmas just around the corner, these would make such beautiful gifts for family and friends!

We’ve one for our toddler’s ‘big girl’ bed and I was surprised at how well they wash, so soft and cozy. I love the muted colours of this one you’ve found; I might need another!
