I love when a super easy project and extreme cuteness meet! I have always loved dainty, simple accent tables. I like that they don’t have a heavy feel. Some of my favorite ones I’ve seen in Country Living. What is it about those spindle table legs that make my heart dance? I’ve been dreaming of the day when I find the perfect one for my home. Being an avid DIYer, I’ve often searched for the perfect unfinished legs without any success. I keep looking and I know the perfect table is out there waiting to be found.
For now I decided to break out my Kreg Jig and make something similar with those vintage tables as my inspiration. This table is the perfect shape and size in my opinion. It’s great no matter what size living room you’re working with. Once I had finished it I really wasn’t sure if I wanted to use it for an end table or as a bedside table. It could be either one! This is the first piece of furniture that I’ve made with scallops. I started out with a simple scallop design. I really love the cute touch that it adds. I painted it white because I just couldn’t commit to anyone color at the moment. It might get a pop or color down the road, who knows.
It only took about a days work of work. I was pulled away may times so you can build it within just a couple hours. You can build this little table for under $20 not including the paint. You can’t beat that!
The best part, I’m sharing the free building plans with you all on Build Something.
Isn’t it the cutest? There are so many great places to use this table. I’ve even thought it would look adorable on our porch this summer as a plant stand. I might just have to make a second one. Don’t forget to hop over to Build Something to check out the easy how-to.
If you follow us on Instagram you probably know that I’ve been decluttering and purging since the first of the year now. I’ve slowly working my way around the house. The living room was the latest room on my list and I can’t wait to show you the result of all my hard work. I think I’ve found the most efficient way to not just declutter but to get all my spring cleaning done at the same time! It worked like a charm and I’ll be sharing all about it in the next couple weeks. I hope you’ll join me. Have a wonderful last week of February friends and happy building!

What a cute little table. You’re right – that would be adorable in the living room or bedroom. My favorite part is the scallop which is just enough to give it some character but since you only put it on the front side it wouldn’t take forever to cut out all the little half circles. Pinning it for later!

Thank you Alana! That’s actually one big reason why I only did the scallop edging on the front and back because I didn’t want to be cutting for days, Lol.
