What a busy weekend it was, friends! I’m okay with it though because I got to look at plan for our master bathroom renovation. One of our house goals this year is to renovate our very outdated master bathroom. I knew right away where we were going to go for the tile, Floor & Decor! Lucky for us, they’ve just opened a brand new Kirkwood store in Atlanta. It’s actually their 7th Atlanta location! The just opened this month and we got to take a tour of the beautiful new store and meet with one of their talented designers for a free consultation.
We’ve been Floor & Decor shoppers for years and absolutely love their selection. They have the largest in-stock flooring options of any store. Any time we’ve purchased tile or hardwood floors we’ve found that Floor & Decor prices have always been the lowest. All Floor & Decor locations, including this one offer free classes to show you how to complete your DIY projects at home.
I had somewhat of an Idea of what I wanted the look to be in our bathroom but I knew it would be great to take a look at Floor & Decor’s tile options and get a second opinion. I called the store and within a couple of minutes I had a free design appointment with one of their in house design consultants. Having a second set of eyes and working with someone who knows all of the latest flooring options was just what I needed. Their designer, Mario was fantastic! He worked one-on-one with me until I felt confident in my choices. We had a blast touring the store and creating a plan for our renovation. One suggestion that Mario gave me was to take three different shower tile options and three different floor tile options, lay them all out and eliminate from there. It can be difficult with so many different tiles to choose from. It really helped me to narrow it down.
While touring the store I got to see their great new selection of counter tops. I love that not only can you shop for flooring but you can now choose from all different solid surface counter tops at affordable prices. Their quartz options are some of my favorites!
They have the largest selections of hardwood floors and woodlook tile. I love that each flooring option has a display board so that you know exactly what it will look like once installed. We’ve installed hardwood flooring from Floor & Decor in two houses now and we couldn’t be more pleased with our decision. The tile section is just as great. Each tiling option is installed on a board above so that you can see the tiles grouted and be inspired by the different tile combinations.
I love this subway and marble tile paired together. It has the grays, white, and browns. I thought it was quite beautiful.
They have some great inspiration for entire rooms available for you to walk into and to get a feel for how different tiles work with each other. How adorable is this laundry room inspiration complete with a pup washing station?
If you prefer more of a modern style, they’ve got ya covered. I loved the rich blue in this subway tile paired with the natural wood vanity. The herringbone pattern adds some fun interest.
When I saw this beautiful bath tub surrounded by the warm, yet cool marble subway I feel in love! This is actually the tile that I’ve decided to go with for our shower! I love that it can be paired with cool or warm colors. It’s timeless and elegant, just what our space needs. Once we’re ready to purchase our tile Floor & Decor will actually store it at no cost for up to 15 days. This way you don’t have to worry about anything selling out before you’re ready to install. If you’re like us storage space is limited, so this is a great perk. They also offer special financing if needed. It really doesn’t get any easier than that!
I couldn’t be more excited to get started on our bathroom. After seeing the tile in person and having the help of their designer Mario, I feel so pleased with our tile choices. It was up to these two options and guess which one we chose?
We chose #1! Both are beautiful options but at the end of the day I wanted to see that marble on the wall of the open shower.
Floor & Decor has always been our favorite place to shop for flooring and back splash materials for our home renovations. I know you’ll love them as much as we do! I’m so thrilled that I got to tour the new store and check out all of the new tile options. I’m more inspired than ever!
