Our home is feeling easy-breezy this spring. Soft colors and collected decor create a cozy cottage style spring home!
Although we’re going through some crazy times currently I hope that these spring home tours bring you a little sunshine and escape from all that’s going on out there. Our host, Krista from The Happy Housie has worked so hard to put this tour together for us and I’m so excited to see all of the pretty spring homes. I had planned on sharing more of our spring home with you today but due to some serious health issues that are going on with a family member I am unable to do so today.
God is reminding me in this season to slow down and take joy in the simple things each day. I think that easy-breezy explains my home really in this spring. I’ve kept things simple and cozy and I’ve incorporated only those things that I love and make our home a little happier. Our homes should be a place of rest and refuge and this spring I hope our home is just that.
The spring showers are already making an appearance in north Ga. It’s been raining for what seems like months. Taking bright, sun-filled photos can be challenging when it’s gray and rainy outside but this is truly what our home looks like currently, cozy none the less. We’ve been taking the time to enjoy lots of movies and dinners in as a family, so keeping the stuff to a minimum and just enjoying each other more has been the best!
I recently shared all about this antique stretcher base table here, as well as a simple vignette using collected treasures. It’s been such a fun piece to decorate and a great place to keep some of my favorite designs and travel books.
Ever since we finished our family/TV room this room has stayed much cleaner and has taken on a fresh look. It’s become a place where I retreat and a room where I can watch all of my girly movies. I’ve slowly collected and curated things that I love that make it a little cozy and interesting. I recently hung some framed artwork and these classic brass sconces. I’m a little embarrassed to say how love I’ve had them. I’ll just use the excuse that I’ve been distracting, ha!
I swapped our winter pillow covers for fresh spring ones. I love using fabrics with soft blues and greens year round but especially in the spring.
I hope this spring brings you a fresh prospective for your home. Sometimes we just need a little sunshine and some spring flowers to see our homes with new eyes. I’m a little disheartened that I wasn’t able to share the rest of our home with you now but I hope that this small glance inspired you in your decorating this spring.

Your home looks so pretty and calm!
Thank you so much Lynne! I hope you have a wonderful spring season. 🙂
How lovely, fresh, and springlike! May your loved one heal soon. May God bless you for your loving care!
Thank you Teresa 🙂 That means so much. Have a beautiful spring season!
Your home is so beautiful. We too have had endless days of rain and clouds – but your home looks so bright and inviting!
Thank you both 🙂 I just keep telling myself that the spring flowers will be something to behold. lol Thanks for stopping by!
I love your living room refreshed for spring. I can see why you love retreating to this space! So lovely!
Thank you so much friend! It’s my absolute favorite in the spring. I love the soft, happy colors.
I love how you’ve combined light & airy, formal yet casual, farmhouse but elegant, neutral & colorful!! I too love using antiques to decorate with, so much so that I started a “side hustle” buying & consigning antiques at Sugar Creek Antiques & Collectibles in Indiana. Light colors like creamy white, mint green and colonial blue all look amazing with the rich wood patina antiques offer. I am so glad I found your blog!
I’m thinking of your family member right now and hoping they are okay. Absolutely love your spring home tour. Everything looks so pretty and calming. Thank you for the tour. xx
Where are your side chairs and sofa from? They look different than the Ikea Ektorp. THanks!
Beautiful home! I’d love to know what color blue
you used on your tables! Can you share please?
