Today I finally get to spill the beans on a secret I’ve been keeping for months. I couldn’t be more excited to announce our Cottage Journal feature! Today I’m sharing all of the fun details.
I’m afraid the title of this post gives our secret away. I’ve been so excited to share this news with you all for months. Our little colonial has been featured by The Cottage Journal! Their quarterly issue just hit shelves earlier this month. It might be a little early to think about fall but grab a copy and it put it away for later.
The Cottage Journal has always been one of my favorite publications. Their autumn issue in particular has always been my favorite. The homes and design ideas they feature have always been so warm, welcoming and classic. It has been such an honor to have our home included in this issue.
Keeping it to myself the last few months has been no fun at all. I couldn’t wait to tell you all the news! Last year we were featured in The Country Sampler and the American Farmhouse magazines. My photos were used in those publications as they are with this issue. Part of me had hoped for a crew to come in and work their photography magic but I suppose it’s nice of them to think so highly of my photos to use them instead. That just goes to show that you don’t have to have the most expensive camera or any formal photography training to be recognized.
In this issue you’ll find a 5 page spread of our last year’s fall home. You also find a full interview that I gave discussing our home’s design details. You can find our full 2019 fall home tour here.
Do you remember our autumn brunch tablescape from last year? You can find all of the details of that here.
I hope you’ll pick up a copy, friends. There are so many beautiful homes and ideas being featured. I know it’s still very much summer but fall will be here before we know it. If you’re anything like me you’re already dreaming of cool fall days and if not, it’s a nice treat to stash away for later.
I hope you all have a wonderful week! I hope to be back later this week sharing a few changes I’ve made around the house the last couple or months and to share some of the antiques I picked up while in Kentucky and Tennessee last week. Stay tuned!
