Hi everyone! Today I had plans to share some of my favorite spring and summer décor. As I was putting everything together for a post & the shop, I realized that I had so many rattan home décor items that I could make a post on just that, so that’s what I decided to do! I’ve always loved rattan and woven things. While it’s made a comeback in Bohemian styled spaces, I’ve always considered timeless and perfect for a traditional style home.
What is rattan? Rattan is simply, thin, jointed stems from a palm tree. It can be made to make furniture, décor, and all sorts of things. The fact that the rattan material comes from palms, explains just why it has such a coastal or beachy look and feel. I might not live on the coast, but this gal loves rattan home décor!
I have several of the items below and love all of them and I just ordered the bar cart this week! Some of these items I would place in the splurge category, but there are several affordable items as well. Grab your coffee and let’s go shopping!

As most of you know, I have always been drawn to baskets and woven storage containers. Not only are they functional, but they have form. I love that they instantly add warmth and style to a space.

I truly believe everyone should own at least one rattan lampshade. I have several and I never tire of them. I’m thinking I have the perfect place in my home for that rattan lamp too! Isn’t it so charming?
Rattan Serving Ware
I was so excited when I found those rattan coasters online. I bought a set some time ago at an antique store. We absolutely love our set. Our set might be vintage but this set above looks almost identical! Those vintage inspired glasses are also a must have. We use them regularly in the summer. Last year I shared them along with my Limoncello Vodka Collins recipe.
