We’ve kept things simple and festive in our master bedroom this Christmas season. Here’s our classic & cozy Christmas bedroom!
Last week I shared our classic Christmas home tour of our foyer, family room, and kitchen. If you missed it you can find here. I’m so glad you’re back. I’m exciting to be participating with a few talented friends for Seasons Simplicity home tour hosted by Krista from The Happy Housie. Today I’m sharing our master bedroom all dressed in ticking stripes. Come on in!
I loved our Christmas bedroom from last year so much that I didn’t want to stray to far from that look and feel. You can see last year’s tour here. I incorporated the red striped pillows again and decided to add the ticking stripe stockings. I had used them a few years ago as part of an advent calendar. I think they pair great with the swagged garland. We decided to stick with faux garland above the headboard. I love fresh garland but didn’t want any garland pieces falling onto the bed.
I put our flocked tree in Charlie’s room this year and we put up just a small and simple tree with a few of our favorite family ornaments. You can see how I took a stinky tree and made it fuller here.
I kept my neutral bedding and just added some season throw pillows and a cozy knitted throw. I wanted to keep this room festive but simple and clutter-free.
These homemade mini stockings were the perfect touch to our tall headboard. I love the color they add to the wall! You can find template and how-to for them here.
I stuck with natural greens, silvers and golds in down stairs but I don’t think I could completely decorate for Christmas without a little red. Do you use red in your decorating? If so do you use it throughout your home?
I’m so glad you stopped by and I hope you’ll head to the next house on the tour! There’s so much beautiful holiday inspiration to be had. Merry Christmas, friends!
Today I’m joined by some talented friends who are also sharing part of their Christmas home tour with you…
