I’ve been so eager to share this tour with you, friends! Last week I shared our foyer & family room as well as our kitchen and dining room. Today I’m sharing our classic red Christmas bedroom. I’m thrilled to be apart of the Home for Holidays home tour hosted by my talented friends Jenna from Wife in Progress. We have such a great group of blogger today sharing their homes with you today. If you’re coming over from A Blue Nest, welcome! Her living room is just beautiful all dressed for Christmas! Come on in –
Classic Red Christmas Bedroom
Typically I spread the red throughout our home at Christmas time. This year I decided to switch things up a bit but couldn’t let the bedroom get by without a little pop of red and I think it fits it well! Just like the rest of our home, I stuck with simple classic decor. Many things in the space will carry up right into the new year. I like to keep most of the room festive but not overly decorated.
A snowy wreath and a couple homemade red ticking stripe pillows does the trick!
I used my existing frames just swapped out the prints for some that were more in keeping with the current season.
The tree is a simple 6′ tree from Wal-Mart.com that was a whooping $30! To give it a fuller look I stuffed it with stuffing used in pillows. I placed it into one of my favorite over-sized baskets. It’s dressing in some of my favorite red ornaments that I’ve been collecting over the last 10 years. There’s family photos and ornaments that are more personal to our little family.
I’m so glad you could stop by! My dear friend, Jennifer from Town and Country Living is up next and I just know she’s going to have some major inspiration in store for you! Have a very merry Christmas!

Thank you so much, Jennifer! I don’t think it would really be Christmas without a little red!
Amanda, it’s so beautiful! You have the perfect amount of red – it’s not overdone, especially in a space where you need it to be calm and relaxing. I love the wreath over your bed, that’s my favorite touch. I’ve been looking at that duvet cover for a while and think I’m going to purchase it, it looks so comfy!
Thank you, Jenna! I love a little red this time of year but I’m with you, a little goes a long way. I bought the duvet a couple months ago and can’t say enough about it. I love it, especially the adorable buttons across the top!
Simply stunning, Amanda! I’ve been so drawn to simple, classic design lately as well.
Thanks Jordan! Your tour was gorgeous, simple has my hear these days. 🙂
Hi, Did you make that headboard? It is beautiful.
We did, Jill and thank you! Here is the link to the super easy how-to : https://sincerelymariedesigns.com/week-4-update-one-room-challenge/
Amanda, it is so pretty! The touches of red are perfect – festive but still calm and restful.
Thank you so much, Susan! 🙂
Amanda, I love the red ticking pillows on your bed and the pillow with the tucks. So pretty and festive and romantic. I think my favorite idea was stuffing pillow filler into the tree for a snowy look. I’ve been trying to think of a way to do that. May add that to our tree. Thanks so much for the idea and sharing the blog hop.
Thank you, Carol! That $30 tree just looked a little sad without the filler. It’s amazing what a little stuffing can do!
Love the red, so warm and inviting. Beautiful room.
Thank you so much, Marty! I just love a pop of red this time of year. It’s fun!
Oh my word! This bedroom is the best. SO cozy and neutral and I love the touches of red. 🙂
Thank you so much, Lisa! You’ve made my night. I had to have a little red in there somewhere this time of year. 🙂
I love your bedroom. It’s so inviting.
This is my first time visiting your blog. I saw the name of the blog and knew it would be special.
I love ❤️ what you did with your tree ????
What a great idea.

Thank you, Shannon! I hope you have a lovely week 🙂
Your bedroom is so pretty and cozy! So smart to use pillow stuffing – the tree looks gorgeous! Love that little green bench, too!
Thanks Meg! The tree looked pretty sad without it. It’s crazy what a little bit of stuffing can do!
This is so pretty! And that tree is totally GORGEOUS! What a good idea to use pillow stuffing for snow. I will have to try that!
Thanks Michele! I’m so glad you stopped by. The tree was def. lacking. It’s amazing the difference the stuffing makes!
Your bedroom is so pretty, Amanda! I love all of the ornaments on your cute tree!
Thank you so much, Suzy! 🙂
I can’t pick which part is my favorite: the snow tucked away on the tree, the red ticking stripe pillows, or the framed sheet music! I love it all!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
