Today I’m wrapping up our home tours with a final look at our classic Christmas home with a few dear friends of mine. I’m honored to have been asked to join my talented friend, Sarah from She Holds Dearly for some really inspiring holiday homes tours. Over the last week I have been sharing our home room by room all dressed for Christmas. Today I want to take you through one last time and show you a glimpse into each space. I love this time of the year. I just adore the fresh greenery and the twinkling lights. I’ve been so drawn to simple, clean design lately so my Christmas decor is just that. I wanted to use natural touches that gave the space a classic, timeless feel.
Come on in to our foyer.

Simple pine and cedar garland drapes the banister and my DIY vintage baking pan sconces hang on the wall behind adding a soft glow to the staircase.
Come on into our family room.
I kept our ornaments on the tree the same minus the red ones and added beaded garland and clip on candles for an old time feel.
Garland and mercury glass votives were an easy and simple touch for the mantel.
Some ball ornaments in a cloche add a touch of elegance with very little effort. You can view the full foyer and family room tour here.
Let’s take a look at the kitchen.
We recently finished our kitchen makeover and to say I was excited to decorate it for the holidays would be an understatement.
Just some simple gold ornaments and a mixing bowl add a festive touch to the kitchen.
I look forward to getting our Santa mugs out every year. This year I’ve been using my MS dutch oven for stove top hot cocoa along with our regular winter soups. The Santa mugs are just perfect for a cup of cocoa!
Our breakfast nook just has some simple greenery added here and there.
Step into the dining room.
Our dining room is dressed with fresh garland and a fresh evergreen wreath.
The dining room table is set with fresh garland, gold ornaments and a wooden rocking horse. You can see the full kitchen and dining room tour here.
Walk up stairs and take a peek into our master bedroom.
This year our bedroom is all dolled up in classic red. A simple snowy wreath hangs over the bed and some fresh greenery and berries sit on each bedside table.
I swapped out my everyday prints on my bedside table for a classic evergreen tree that will work in the space through the winter season.
A small faux tree with added stuffing adds a touch of snowy magic to the space. I just love the soft glow of the tree in the evenings. This tree is dressed in ornaments that are special to our family. There’s ornaments that we’ve collected for years along with several family photos. You can see the entire bedroom tour here.
How do you decorate? Do you gravitate towards simple or do you go all out? Christmas is such a beautiful time of year. I’m so happy you stopped by!
I hope you’ll hop over to the next tour and say hello. I just know you’ll be inspired!

It is all so gorgeous Amanda! I just love how you style. Please, tell me where you buy your fresh garland from? I always get mine from Lowes but really dislike it. Your garland is so beautiful!
Your home looks so pretty dressed up for Christmas! I love how you layered the stockings all together. I never thought to do that, but it looks amazing. The simple touches of Christmas in your kitchen are so pretty as well!
Amanda! I could just stare at your house all day. Those baking pan sconces and your garland on the stairs were my very favorite!!!
Where is the stairs garland from?
I’m so glad to have found your blog…your home is beautiful!! Thanks for sharing:)
