Yesterday was the first day of fall, so it seems so perfect that today I’m sharing our collected fall kitchen tour. If you’re coming over from Deeply Southern Home, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! When it comes to decorating for the fall season, I always prefer natural décor elements over faux. Heirloom pumpkins, vibrant florals and dried gourds are the perfect way to bring autumn in doors.
I like to keep our counter tops tidy and clutter- free, so I add minimal decor to our counter tops. Just a couple of small white pumpkins, a festive hand towel and some fall scent dish soap do the trick.
Last summer, after refinishing our butcher block counter tops, we did a quick makeover on the rest of the kitchen. You can see the before and after HERE. We upgraded our hardware and painted the cabinets, trim and walls. I also created a baking station on this side of our kitchen. It really came in handy with all of my fall and holiday baking. Isn’t this just the best time of the year to bake?
In celebration of the fall season I made a family favorite, our old fashioned apple crumble. I shared the recipe earlier this week. Be sure to grab that HERE. It’s a classic that I know you’re going to love as much as we do!
Our breakfast nook is where Josh and I enjoy our coffee together each morning before we start the day. We spend a lot of time in this space. The warm white walls create a neutral back drop that’s perfect for the vibrant florals and pillow fabric.
Again, just a few natural elements Were added to the center of our breakfast table. I love the pop of color the mums add and the dried gourds are such a classic fall touch.
I’ll be sharing our fall living room soon but for now be sure to hop over to Zevy Joy for more pretty fall inspiration. Thanks for stopping by friends and I wish you all a lovely autumn!
This week I’m joining some of my talented blogging friends for the Fall Seasonal Simplicity Series. All week long we are sharing our homes decorated for Fall. Be sure to check out all of the beautiful inspiration by visiting today’s tours, and pop by again during the week to visit everyone else who is sharing!

Amanda!! Your kitchen is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see what you did in your Living Room!!! PS I love that you and Josh start each morning together over a cup of coffee. Justin and I were waking up at 530 to make sure we could start our days that way too. But we have fallen off that bandwagon. Thank you for the encouragement to get back to it friend!!!
